Unlimited Range, No Waiting, No Tethers
The Tesla Model S 60 kWh has a 208 mile range. While the ELR’s pure electric driving range is limited to thirty seven miles, the extended range onboard generator allows up to 340 miles of range before refueling. You’re not tethered to Tesla’s Supercharger network for an ultra fast charge (the Supercharger takes half an hour, if you can find one … recharging on a lesser charger takes hours). You are free to roam at will, with no worries. Filling the ELR’s gas tank takes just minutes at a normal gas station. Modest day-to-day commutes can be handled with house current overnight.
