Adaptive Cruise Control keeps a set distance between you and the vehicle you’re are following, slowing the car down automatically. The technology is a tremendous advancement and one of the cornerstones of autonomous driving. Why Elon Musk chose to leave this one off the feature list, I couldn’t tell you. Perhaps he didn’t want to buy it from a supplier and thought he could roll his own? Whatever the case, it’s sadly missing.
