MPGomatic Traffic Jumps

In the words of Bart Simpson, “holy cow!”

We’re getting LOTS of traffic to the front page of MPGomatic.com this morning and I haven’t been able to figure out where it’s coming from. My best guess is that we landed a media mention somewhere.

I couldn’t let this pass by without sending out a hearty welcome to all our new friends! I’d love to know who to thank for the mention …

UPDATE: Wow … it’s MSN … Many thanks for the heads-up!
The author of the article kindly referenced our Toyota Yaris review.

Please feel free to drop your comments and questions. 🙂

You’re increase in traffic is probably due to being mentioned in article on MSN Home page.

I think the traffic may be coming from MSN.

MSN Autos had a comparison of small cars featured at the Detroit Auto Show, and mentioned this site’s test of the Toyota Yaris. More than likely, that’s what prompted the jump (especially if major media outlets show the story).

You were mentioned on MSN’s front running news story…Here is the quote:
If you want to drive small, the Yaris is a mini hero worth experiencing. Available in 3- and 5-door hatchbacks and a 4-door sedan, the Yaris family is the winner of numerous awards for safety and reliability. At 150 inches, the 3-door hatchback is one of the shortest cars out there — a plus when it comes to parking agility, as well as overall efficiency. The EPA rates the smallest Yaris at 29/36 mpg (city/hwy), but MPGOmatic.com averaged almost 50 mpg on the highway (though the Yaris lacks an mpg readout with which to flaunt it). ABS brakes and side and curtain airbags are standard, and all three Yaris versions offer a generous options list.

So good going and glad I found you.

The media mention you are talking about is from http://www.MSN.com they did an article called “Life on the Tiny Lane” in regards of small and fuel efficient vehicles.

Kind Regards
