Jay Leno’s 2010 Camaro Review

While we’ve been chomping at the bit to get a week with the 2010 Camaro, it looks like we won’t have the chance to put the new pony car through the paces until some point this summer. We’re aiming to roll up the miles on both the 304 horsepower (HP) V6 base model and the 426 HP V8 Camaro SS to test for fuel efficiency, performance, and audio integration.

In the meantime, you might enjoy Jay Leno’s review of the new Camaro SS. Jay lays out the facts, delivers insight on the reborn Camaro as only he can, and tears up the street with his share of obligatory smoky burnouts. Jay’s the man. We stand by our suggestion that he be named CEO of the new General Motors, once it too is relaunched.

Watch closely as Jay hits it on the the head … the new Camaro is real competition for the imports and it’s not just about the big V8. With the fuel-efficient (17 city/29 highway) and powerful V6, there’s a whole lot of performance and potential in the entry-level model.

  1. I have heard that Jay Leno has a 2010 Camaro V6 with twin turbos.

I may add a cold air intake system to my 2011 V6 Camaro but nothing more than that, because the cost of adding twin turbos is more than the extra cost of having a V8 Camaro.

You always have to remember that when you decide to raise the power on your car you have to strengthen all other parts of the car also pistons, rods, suspension etc., otherwise you can destroy your car.
