The 2.5-liter naturally aspirated boxer four produces 170 horsepower and is offered in the 2.5X, 2.5X Premium, 2.5X Limited, and 2.5X Touring, while the 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer four produces 250 HP and is offered in the 2.5XT Premium and 2.5XT Touring. Subaru has ditched the four-speed automatic for a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and switches to 2.0 turbo (for the XT) in 2014.
