Sparco R100 Seat Installation Details

This is a list of the parts used in my Sparco R100 seat installation video.

Sparco R100 Seats These are the Sparco R100 Seats that I installed in my ’99 Civic HX Coupe. The seats come in a variety of trim and fabric combinations. I have solid black cloth seats. The solid black seats are the most common. The blue, red, and grey accent seats are not as common, but may be available at a slightly lower cost.
The seats need to be mounted on seat bases. I used Sparco 600 Seat Bases. There are different bases, depending on the vehicle. You will likely need different bases for the left and right sides. Be sure to check carefully before ordering, to avoid the hassles of returning the wrong mounts.
If you want the ability to slide the seat back and forth, you’ll need to get a set of Sparco Slider Seat Track Sliders. This adds a bit of expense to the install, but it’s worth it in my book. Seat sliders are one of those little things that we take for granted …
I used Sparco’s Bottom Mount Seat Hardware set, rather than going to the hardware store to pick the individual pieces from their bolt bins. It might have cost an extra buck or two, but it saved a bunch of time.

Seat sizing is extremely important. You should try a seat on for size before buying, whenever possible. If you have a local shop that sells Sparco seats at a competitive price, you should give them your business. If not, Amazon is a good choice. Always keep in mind that shipping costs can add a considerable amount to the final price. If you have Amazon Prime, the seats may ship for free (depending on which style you choose).

Thanks for watching, thanks for reading, and if you order through our Amazon links, let us know and we’ll send out some Burn Rubber, Not Gasoline stickers to show our gratitude! 🙂
