It tried to buy one starting sept. 08. No dice. I balked at the 38% dealer mark-up compared to the MSRP.

Diesel in Souix Falls $1.75

I just bought a 2009 Jetta TDI. Went looking for diesel for the first fill up yesterday and was surprised to find, via the web, a station about 9 miles from my home that had it for $2.22 a gal. Given the mileage I'm getting, I'm way ahead of the game. Portland Oregon

FYI: I noticed the price of gas (super) was the same as diesel this am in Mukilteo Washington.

Maybe the economy is depressing diesel prices since not as many trucks are needed to deliver goods?

Wow I'm glad you finally got into a TDI!! Unfortunately the best price I can get diesel for is $2.44/gal but at least the gap is much better than it had been! (1.89 for RUG right now).

Well enjoy the ride and I am looking forward to reading your results!!
