I currently own a 2007 Prius. In researching the cost of the Hymotion conversion kit at $11,408 total cost installed out the door might be a bit of a streach cost wise since I already get 50+ mpg.

Since the price of batteries have dropped. I hope your prices have dropped for these upgrades. Think of the economy of scale.

Why Pat’s Garage can make this happen and not Toyota is a mystery to me. I’ve seen the process and the price to convert and if there isn’t a stock plug-in hybrid available by the time I am ready to buy a new car in 2 years, I am so going the Prius – conversion kit route. Thanks for letting people know about this.
