Whoa, Nellie! 20 MPG was great for 2004, when gas was relatively cheap.

A tire-smoking plug-in electric Mustang would be way cool. This article from EV World on the Ronaele 300E electric Mustang is just a hint of things to come.

We're about to see a wave of conversions coming from garages across the land. This propane powered Mustang is another avenue to a world where we can have muscle cars AND independence from imported oil. While this one's not a Roush unit, I'd reckon that they're not that far down the line, as Roush already converts F-150s to run on Propane.

I find it interesting that car manufacturers love quoting and advertising "highway" mileage. How many people actually drive to work everyday qualifying for "highway mileage"?

A 2004 Roush Stage3 Mustang (400 hp) can achieve 20 MPG COMBINED/CITY !!! (Which is the same for alot of 4 cylinders out there)

As Ford wrestles with its financial woes, I think they should focus on working smarter... not harder.

They don't need to reinvent the wheel with batteries.
