I get 39-40 mpg around town consistently. Road milage w/air condition on and cruise control, depends on speed. Believe this during a recent 800 mile round trip from Rochester NY to Columbus OH. At 62 mph, for 200 miles 44 mpg; at 72mph for 200 miles 37 mpg; at 58mph for 200 miles, 55 mpg ; at 58 mph for last 200 miles, 48 mpg. I have a 2006 Vibe with 48,000 miles. 5 speed manual shift.
