i recently bought a 99 accent gsi on kijiji and it get’s 400+ k on a full tank which is only +/- $25 CDN to fill. the check engine light is on but i pay it no mind. so far so good! it had 142 k when i got it.

Love my Hyundai…

2000 Accent purchased in 2001. 258,000 miles on the original clutch. I am averaging 37-40 mpg on the highway…
(Startron does wonders to combat ethanol issues… )

I have a 2002 Hyundai Accent that I bought in fall of 2007 and I have only been getting 300 km/ tank fill up since then. I don’t drive aggressivelly so I have no idea why it’s so horrible on gas. Any idea’s?

I have a 2006 accent gls i just bought it and it works wonders i get prob 42mpg which is good to go.

I just bought a 2009 Accent and I’m getting just a hair over 200 miles per 11 gallon fill up. This is not right! I’m taking it back because that is BS.

I just bought a 2009 Accent and I am so disappointed. I’m only getting 300 km a tank and I drive 100km to work one way which puts me at the gas station every other day. I had a chev. cavalier and now I want it back.

I have a 2004 Hyundai Accent 1.6 automatic and I drive about 90 miles a day and I drive 5 days week and I have
to fill up every 3 days which is not good. What is going on with the car? It has a recent tuneup. Please help I am very disappointed.

hello i have a accent 02 the mileage is awful, i ve changed the oxygen sensor but the effect is the same does anyone knows any idea to change the gas consumption

I have an ’00 Accent auto with 200,000Kms on it now and on the highway it regularly gets me 600kms per 40litres IF i stay at 110kph or lower. Highest i got was 643kms last month. Only prob i’ve had with the car is that the check engine light likes to come on from time to time before mysteriously going out again, and the rear right shock/strut sounds like it’s about to break through the body of the car in cold weather!
