Yet, when I bought the car I filled it up and hit the button to record the miles so when I fill up again I would see what it really gets. I have the tank 1/4 full and the meter says that I have gone 183 miles. My car has a 20 gallon gas tank. So after the calculations I figured 183/3=61 61/5=10.2 . So does my car really get 10.2 mpg because the meter on the side that gives my my average mpg never falls below 15 on a bad day with alot of stops in town. Is this normal??????
